Clay Wilder moved to Portland, Oregon, three years ago looking for community, love, and success as a visual artist—and so far he’s zero for three. He’s thinking of abandoning the city altogether when he meets someone who might change his feelings about Portland, and his destiny, altogether. On their third date, Lee drops a bombshell even Clay—prone to catastrophizing—couldn’t have seen coming. The older man claims to be a visitor from the future.
